C/W MARS
We are full members of the Central/Western MA Resource
Sharing (C/W MARS) network. If you already have a C/WMARS
library card, you are welcome to use it at the Richard
Sugden Library. You can request items online, and have
them delivered to the library using your C/WMARS card! To
get a free library card, bring in a photo ID and a piece
of mail with your current address.
*Library cards are now required for all library
transactions including in-library computer use.

Ecotarium www.ecotarium.org Hours Tuesday-Saturday 10-5, Sunday 12-5 year-round. Museum coupon admits 2 adults and 2 children at 50% regular museum admission price (You pay $7.00 adults; $4.00 children 2-18, $5.00 senior citizens and college students with ID. Chilren under 2 admitted free. Active military personnel receive 2 for 1 admission with ID.)
Eric Carle Museum www.carlemuseum.org
Tuesday-Friday 10-4, Saturday 10-5, Sunday 12-5. Open Mondays during school vacation weeks. Museum pass provides free admission for two adults and up
to four children.
Higgins Armory Museum www.higgins.org
Tuesday-Saturday 10-4:30, Sunday 12-4 Museum pass admits up to four people at 50% regular admission price. (You pay $6.00 adults, $5.00 seniors and $4.00 children. Children age 3 and under are free.)
Massachusetts State Park Pass www.mass.gov/forparks.html
The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation has donated an annual “ParksPass” hangtag which entitles the bearer to free parking for one vehicle at over 50 day-use facilities in the State Parks system that charges a fee; not valid for camping.
Old Sturbridge Village www.osv.org
Open daily 9:30-5. Check for winter holiday hours. Museum pass admits up to 4 people at 50% regular admission price. (You pay $12.00 adults, $11.00 seniors, $4.00 youth 3-17. Children age 2 and under admitted free.
Tower Hill Botanic Garden www.towerhill.org
Tuesday-Sunday and Holidays, Mondays 9-5 year round. Check hours for Twigs Cafe, shop and Library. Museum pass provides free admission for up to 4 people. Pass NO LONGER includes discount at the Shop at Tower Hill.
Town of Spencer, Luther Hill
Park Admission to the Park is free with proof of Spencer residence. No library pass required this year.

THE MEETING ROOMS

The Richard Sugden Library Community Room seats up
to forty people and is available for community
groups on a first-come, first-served basis.
Arrangements can be made to use the small adjoining
kitchen facilities as well as standard AV
equipment. To reserve the Meeting Room call the
Library or email:dfarmosa@cwmars.org.
Please refer to the Richard Sugden Library
Community Room Policies/Application for Use forms,
for specific information.The library also has a
smaller Quiet Study room with space for up to six
people. This can be reserved by phone or in person. |

cultural resources for area residents through its
collections and programs. The library is a
community center, offering meeting spaces and study
